Sanctuary
Added 2021-02-28 18:49:03 +0000 UTC"In the Warmth of the Fire" is one of my favorite tunes I've written for Music d20. The original has a perfect Nordic sort of aurora borealis vibe that's great for frigid adventures. It's got a hummable melody, but also isn't too distracting for moments of focus in your RPGs. The ambient mix is also great for even calmer moments. That said, I wanted to take yet another crack at it, this time with a slightly more refined and urban setting in mind.
"In the Warmth of the Fire (Sanctuary)" is probably going to be temple music. When your party gets TPK'd, but you deus ex machina them back to life, this is the track you put on. It's great for havens of safety: a welcoming guildhall, an enchanted grove, or even something as straightforward as a refugee camp. There's no implication of danger here, and whoever is singing in that choir in the background clearly has your best interest at heart.
