That Podcast Sound...

Take some simple and pleasantly plucky music, and add the tiniest amount of grit to it for the sake of... I don't know, modernizing? If you've ever listened to Serial, or S Town, or Nice White Parents, you know exactly what I'm talking about. It's very effective at both being dramatic and neutral at the same time.
With that, I bring you "Cork Board Evidence (Modern Crime)," a bit of an homage to that sound. Appalachian strings and clarinet + trip hop-adjacent drums give this a surface-level crunch but also immediate approachability. This'll probably see more use in modern and/or sci-fi campaigns, but I think this is also great for likeable anti-heroes, something like a Thieves Guild or equivalent.
As always, looping versions of both are attached below, and a big thank you to Adam Baffoni for supporting track and its non-variant version.
