Raiders Ritual | Collaboration with MapGuffin

I'm so happy to finally get a chance to collaborate with Eddie of MapGuffin. Unlike many of the cartographers you might already know from the RPG space or my other collaborations, MapGuffin is all about beautifully rendered 3D maps. He offers multiple perspectives, incredible animate maps that are VTT ready, and a range of variants for all of your diverse RPG needs. If you couldn't guess by the dope image above, MapGuffin and I collaborated on a sort of Norse pagan ritual vibe. His map (titled "Raiders Ritual") is perfect for those non-maritime Viking vibes. He is also graciously letting me share his Silver Tier rewards, which include snowy, foggy, rainy, day, and night variants as well as the awesome animated map which apparently took days to render.

You can grab all of MapGuffin's Raiders Ritual content HERE. Also, please please please be sure to check out his amazing Patreon. I've been so impressed with his maps, and I think your players will be pretty wowed when they walk into a scene and it's like someone made a whole dang video game for one of their encounters.

Okay, onto the music!

For maybe the first time ever, I've brought you a truly "authentic" ritualist Norse banger (note: we actually have no idea what an authentic Norse track would sound like, but this is how everyone else seems to approach it). "Helgisiðir" is perfect for eerie snowy pagan ceremonies. People are singing, someone is getting violent, and everyone's got all sorts of weird paint on their face. For those of you who played 100 hours of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, you may be a bit sick of this vibe by now, but I think it's a long overdue track in the Music d20 library.

This track will work equally for dwarves, culturally-ambiguous barbarians, or even exotic army encampments. You may want to put this on during combat, but it's just as good for those intense non-combat scenarios that I'm always harping on about (you guys do have "intense non-combat scenarios," right?).

If you want some tracks with even more flexibility, I've got an aggressive percussion only version, as well as a chiller ambient mix for Norse locales that don't involve fighting (which may or may not exist). Thanks y'all, and enjoy the map and music!
