I wanted to also tell a bit of a story with it too, where she goes through different mental phases of surprise and reluctance through the sequence, playing on the concept of basically the longer you come in contact with the mask the more it changes you. Good thing she tossed it before things went too far, she probably wishes she had a faster reaction time though.
One thing we can all be certain of is this, she wont be getting Covid anytime soon! :P
