Added 2024-08-24 19:46:52 +0000 UTCthis rough is formatted differently from the final version. at the last second i decided that it would be funnier if there was an extra frame of silence before the final panel. 5 frames is an odd number so i had to get creative with how i formatted the whole thing. i enjoy formatting as a way to make each strip look different. trying to make this comic look action packed when its just 2 people talking to each other
also meet betty the aardvark, this week's one-off character. i was listening to the song "c'mon c'mon" by the band go betty go from the hit racing game burnout 3: takedown. fav song in the game. spent a lot of time on this design, particularly the hair. i have an obsession with making even the most insignificant characters look unique. every extra needs to look like they could be the main character of their own comic. i will be going to NBC headquarters to pitch my idea for spinoff shows of these characters. it worked for frasier and wings
