Metrocenter Mall: A Dead Mall Eulogy
Added 2020-12-09 22:49:03 +0000 UTCHere's the latest episode of Retail Archaeology. After several months of trying I finally was able to get into Metrocenter Mall again. For several months I havd been trying to work out something with mall management to get access to the mall. That all seemed to have fallen through and I didn't think I was going to be able to get back in to the mall again. Thankfully I found a way in via the auction preview for the fixture auction that's currently happening. This isn't exactly the video that I had planned to make but at least I got into the mall again. Thank you all for your patience, I know a lot of people wanted an update on this place. Also thank you all for your support, you all are amazing 😁

It makes me sad what the event left behind in crap... but I am surprised by the amount of dust. That Cinnabon was operating until the end and it provided the perfect good ‘mall smell’ - I was there a few weeks ago canvassing the businesses adjacent to the mall and the music playing creeped me out. I am hoping you are able to hit up the mall again for the future auction items, its wild to see in side places that have had black curtains for over a decade.
