Some bands have people alternating as centers through their performance. I don't watch many but this one group some family folks were watching did that in their performance. Also I like Dustin's comment.

Like keeping your pet knife at home! Not smoking or drinking! Not acting like jailbait! In short: You can be the Center when you're not a problem anymore. Until then, Sasami can be the Center. She'll probably be there as Center forever that way, but hey! From now on, I will use the position of Center as a reward for character development! ...If only that were an option...
