In addition to the context from the reply to Steven Newton's comment we're still in the concept and brainstorming phase and therefore illustrations shared are more about us fleshing out our discussions and experimenting with themes - this won't necessarily be the final design but seeing it stitched together has given us some ideas on the direction we want to take with advancing the design.

Considering starships give off navy-esk vibes this isn't necessarily a bad line of thinking you've got here.

While the specifics won't be learned for a fair while yet the events of Liberation Day will have left a mark on Kayto as well as the surviving crew members. There are further developments that will need to play out before the next generation of uniforms come into use.

I like the idea of a white coat but I'm not sure the uniform fits Kaito all that well. He always seemed more of a traditional military man to me, but that could just be the way I played him.

With that coat I feel like I should be calling him Commodore; like the look though, don't get me wrong.

I really like the jacket but the suit and Cavalier Boots are giving me strong steampunk/pirate vibes. I'm not too fond of pirate stuff but I do like steampunk, I just dont feel it fits with the previously established art style of the Sunrider Universe. And Shields, dispite being fairly customizable, never really gives off the vibes of lavishness, extravagance, or flamboyance that this concept art gives me. He seems to be the straight man of the crew and literally and figuratively the crews head and anchor point. Maybe I'm just projecting though. Diesbt help that I'm also writing a scifi epic with a sprinkle of mecha at the moment, so maybe I've got it twisted. Anyway, just thought I'd add my 2 cents and help with the creative process in any way I can. Regardless of what direction you take, you'll have my full support and I'm sure I'll enjoy the final product.

Steven
