I spent so long working out how to show the star engine constellatio, it was so tricky to figure our and I still don’t know if it looks right, but that’s a close as I could get it. Initially I wanted to get the star annnnd the constellation coming towards the viewer in one shot, but that proved to be too difficult. To do that would require a very wide panel over two pages (otherwise it would be too small).
also, happy 250 pages! 🎉 That feels like a landmark to me.

And how do the Tandraxians travel from one star engine to another without having to move the star engine? By the way, with the way the star engines are neatly positioned, could a powerful attack like a black hole or the beam from a Leviathan's giant laser smash through one star engine and fly into the next smashing through it and so on? That way, the Imperium would be able to damage multiple star engines with one attack. Imagine what would happen if they spun the laser around like a lighthouse, just erasing everything.

We’ll be seeing a lot more of this environment and also we’ll be exploring a multi-species trade post station very soon where we’ll get lots of glimpses into alien cultures and even new alien species in the form of livestock and exotic pets. 2024-01-23 11:10:45 +0000 UTCI’m glad that I could explain with some clarity what my troubles were with this one haha I opted for looking down and across the constellation so that we could catch a glimpse of the engine plume from the stellar drive that was to show up in the very next panel. I just felt that made the most narrative sense and gives the reader sommmmme kind of special awareness. Thanks as always Nicholas!
