The Creation Stone.

New Concavia content.

This is the Creation Stone, a carved menhir depicting the cosmogony or “creation myth” as it is better known.  The main parts of the story are depicted in stylistic fashion on this boulders surface. On it we can see the sun god Leuada banishing dark lord, Támhas and the forging of the world from Támhas’ soulless form with the help of his wife and children. Next the war of heaven is depicted and finally, the goddess Mehters great deluge.

In the centre of the stone Leuada (the god of light) can be seen, above him is the goddess Mehter (goddess of birth, fertility, the great flood and the land-wights) and below is Támhas (the god of darkness and chaos) with his son Dhegoma (the dark broad earth). To Leuadas left is Woodir (the god of the streams and seas) and his brother Duneos (the sky father, the striker of oaks and cloud compeller). To Leuadas right, Firalah (goddess of the animal kingdom and hunting), her sisters Florawah (goddess of plant life, good harvest and music) and Swoma (goddess of fungi, sleep and mind-altering substances) are located. Going clockwise around the sacred stone carving are four scene depicting core parts of the Cosmogony which a bard or poet would fill in the gaps of the narrative between each frame orally before a crowd.

I know that’s a lot of information, but there will be illustrations and maps to help you make sense of the deep world of Concavia coming in the future.

The next instalment of Humanity Lost will be coming soon also, I’m working away on it currently. Thank you for the support guys and I hope you’re enjoying this extra content.

I think some would no doubt, it’s definitely the most pressing matter in all neighbouring species lives, it would certainly find some expression in art and and murals would be one medium in which it is expressed. There have been in the past before the collapse and it’s actually a major part of the story and lore of Concavia and lead directly to the great flood and the ruin of all civilisations across the surface of Concavia. There is a species of elevated hominids called the Nunacairn who are dearest to the goddess Firalah, they’re taller than we are and have cone heads, their civilisation in its heyday spread across multiple continents and they even ventured down into depths of Concavia seeking the answer to what would happen if they kept on digging, what happens when one breaches the firmament? These terranauts were corrupted by what they encountered down there lingering in the depths and without going into too much detail, an ancient evil corrupted them and fractured their civilisation. This all lead culminated in series of events leading to the downfall of Nunacairn civilisation. The Nunacairn now exist in a fallen state post-deluge, their numbers were decimated and most live in the ruins of their once great civilisation, maintaining small sections of them like monasteries, preserving what little information and knowledge they have left from the more enlightened past. I think what people fear more than the land-spirits is the brooding Tàmhas lurking below their verdant world. So long as they can live in balance with nature they won’t evoke the ire of the land spirits, they can live happily enough. I don’t think they feel Concavia to be a prison any more than we believe our earth to be a prison, it’s all they’ve ever known.

That’s great to hear, thanks Faux!

I meant civilizations in HL, sorry for the confusion.

Erika Spooner

Concavia isn’t a part of the HL universe, and I’m pretty sure the people of concavia probably think their world is all their is

Ryan

Would any civilizations make murals of the Imperium and the All-Mother? It would be epic to see a mural depicting the power of AM and her Over-Father's. Have there been any attempts to escape Concavia by drilling out? Humanity in this environment probably lives in constant fear of those spirits or whatever kills people when too many are in one place. Has anyone ever wondered if they'd be better off outside Concavia? Do they think of their world as a prison?

Erika Spooner

Ecstatic to learn more about Concavia, loving it

Faux

Haha cheers Ryan, more you say? 👂
