Pan and Warcraft

Wooo just watched two films today, first is Pan with Hugh Jackman as Captain Blackbeard. I'm a Peter Pan watcher and I wasn't sure how this would go but damn Jackman pulled it off, think his best role ever and it's one of the good Peter Pan films. Also Tigerlily the female role does 90% of the fighting/swordfighting in the film which is outstanding. Neverland really does feel magical and fantastic, the fairy's feel right and the pirates are very very creepy... I'm talking Arkham Asylum creepy so if you haven't seen it (I watched it on UK Netflix) check it out because I loved it. The other film was Warcraft also on Netflix. I've never played the games because i was busy drawing lol. But I'm into fantasy, swordfighting. Now I think the LOTR/Hobbit films are dodgy and the books are good.... And I wasn't happy with the violence to animals in the Warcraft film. But the CGI for the Orcs was freaking good. And you've got women warriors on both sides. Infact it never gets mentioned which is how it should be. I was annoyed the film didn't have a complete ending or a happy ending because this is your film. You should make each one with an ending incase that's it, no more... After enjoying them both it really made me feel how shit boring Justice League and alot of superhero films are... Not counting Thor Ragnarok which was awesome. You've got a freaking army of well developed orcs fighting an army of knights !!!! You've got an army of criminally insane pirates killing natives and fighting fairy's in entire fantasy world's with strong female characters kicking arse. Really showed how embarrassing superhero films are and I'm saying that as a hardcore superhero nerd. Avengers has been so sexist with 18 or something movies getting you to 2 women avengers and black panther!!!! While the justice league managed....wonderwoman. I loves me some wonderwoman but...come on, where's Hawkgirl, Supergirl, Batwoman, batgirl, zatanna, vixen etc etc with slow predictable plots. So yeah if you haven't seen them, Pan (with Hugh Jackman because there's a few named pan) and Warcraft 😁
