Currency change.

🇬🇧 Dear Patrons,

Just wanted to tell you that I switched the currency of my Patreon from USD to Euro because that's my currency and conversion fees were taking way too much of my income (x_x) I didn't choose Euro from the beginning because it wasn't available when I started Patreon.

How does this affect you?

If you're paying in any other currency, you will still be able to do so (Patreon converts your currency into euros for me), so technically you don't need to do anything to keep being a Patron. Your patronage will just go on as usual.

However, I don't know if convertion fees will affect active Patrons too and if the amount you pay might change. Currently Euro and USD are pretty close in value, so hopefully this will not affect you much, but I'm unsure. You can check your pledges on the manage memberships menu, and if you see any change you're not comfortable with, you can cancel your pledge before the end of the month so you won't be charged starting May.

If there's any change in price for you and you decide to leave, I thank you very much for having supported me this far! I hope you'll keep reading Wild Beast Forest House on Webtoon and that you will like the rest of the story. If there's any change in price for you and you decide to stay... Solo quería deciros que he cambiado la moneda de mi Patreon de dólar estadounidense a euro. Las tasas de conversión de dólar a euro, sobre todo al pasar por Paypal, se estaban comiendo demasiados de mis ingresos (x_x) No elegí euro desde el principio porque cuando me hice el Patreon no existía esa opción, pero ahora sí se puede.

¿Cómo os afecta esto a vosotros?

Si pagáis en cualquier otra moneda, podréis seguir haciéndolo sin problema (Patreon convertirá vuestra moneda a euros para mí igual que hasta ahora lo convertía todo a USD). En teoría no tenéis que hacer nada, seguiréis siendo Patrons el mes que viene sin necesidad de hacer nada por vuestra parte.

Sin embargo, no sé si este cambio de moneda puede afectar de algún modo a la cantidad que pagáis (por las tasas de cambio) o si esto solo será efectivo para nuevos Patrons. Podéis mirar cuánto vais a pagar en la sección de manage memberships. Si veis algún cambio que no os parezca bien, podéis cancelar vuestra suscripción antes del 1 de Mayo para que no os cobren nada.
