As many of you know from my social media, I caught Covid and these days I'm taking extra time to rest a lot and recover, so next update might take a little longer (TwT) Thank you for your understanding!
While Yule has his own reasons to hate rain (you won't need 700 chapters to find out why, you'll know within the next updates), the fact he's scared and hides under things is based off my cat Kijin, who passed away in 2020 (he was around 18 years old). Let me tell you a bit about his story!
One morning after a rainy night, I was working in my room when I heard a big meowing sound from outside. I thought it was a big cat or something because the sound was very loud, and I went to check in case he was hurt. I opened the door of my home, which led to the community space, which let to another door to the street (I lived at street level, but it was a flat in a building). When I opened the street door, I saw a tiny little creature sitting there.

He was perfectly fine, he just meowed for someone to open the door. He saw the door open, he ran all the way to my home and sat down as soon as he was inside. It was clear on his face that he had settled and nobody would be able to kick him out ( ' - ' )
My parents were on a trip at the time and they said a big "no" over the phone when we told them we had a cat at home. Then they came back, saw that face... and of course, Kijin stayed until the end of his days.
Whenever it rained you would find him alone hiding under the bed. I think maybe he spent that rainy night in the street and it was very hard for him, so it became a trauma of his (T_T) I used that when creating Yule's story, though his reasons are different. Thank you for reading!
