This chapter was important for me, among other things, because it's the first time we see how Ragnar feels about himself. Even though he despises violence and even built a place made for peace, he still sees himself as "part of the system" (the system = the laws of the forest, survival of the strongest, etc.). There's also a little hint of his past shown here (and a new character I had to design just for one panel *laughs* But I had a more or less clear image of what he looked like, so it was easy).
