A girl of golden locks opened a stone grey doorway, adventuring inside. The room within was bland, sucked of any vibrant color but also off. Jagged. As if Wonderland tried to be normal and became drab in the process.

“Now why would that (generously sized) blonde tell me to go this way?”

While the clash of drab and sharp angles of the room made Alice weary, there was a smell that wafted into her nose reminding her that she was feeling rather peckish. Following her nose, she made her way into the kitchen of the homely looking… apartment? The living area was small and dirty with trash, and standing in the middle was a woman in a stripped skirt.

“My my, a guest and one thats just in time for supper.” The woman turned and Alice had to bite back a gasp. The lady’s face was painted clownish and despite her tired aura she was stunning. Only… her mouth was grinning a bit too widely. “Why hello… Alice, right? Yes, that’s you! I’m Renee but feel free to to call me your other mother. Everybody has one after all.”

“An 'other' mother…?”

Alice didn’t understand why she needed an 'other' of anything yet wonderland conditioned her to not ask too many questions as she was led to a sofa. The riddles were often not worth the headache.

“Oh yes, and you look famished. Much like how my own children were skin and bone. I’ll be sure to fix that right up.”

With a large pot of stew in tow from the nearby kitchenette and ladle in hand, Renee brought up the first large mouthful to Alice. Hesitant at first, Alice found her mouth open of its own accord and greedily accepted the whole ladle of stew. She swallowed after a quick chew. “This tastes… interesting.” She gagged from the large swallow. “What’s in this stew?”

Renee’s grin grew, her face looking ready to split in two. “Oh just a bit of what I found laying around.” She said. “Good food is so hard to find around here after all.” She held up another ladle worth of food Alice mindlessly accepted.

“Like whats in the cupboards.”

Gulp.

“What was in the trash.”

Gulp.

“Leather from old shoes.”

Gulp.

“Insects from the bathroom.”

Gulp.

“A rather obnoxious neighbor.”

Gulp.

“And even more exotic things.”

Alice wanted to scream, cry, anything at all yet she kept eating every time Renee fed her. The whole time she couldn’t even make out what she was being fed no matter how much her eyes scrambled to make out anything of the slop stew forced in her face. Renee playfully smacked Alice’s stomach when they realized how huge she gotten. It was like she was carrying a second Alice worth of dubious stew within herself. What was going on? She tried to say something but Alice could only give a long drawn burp.

Renee giggled. “And such a healthy appetite. Not like my ungrateful spawn. Yes you’ll do nicely… maybe my new daughter. I’ll fill you to the brim day after day until you EXPLODE with a mothers love.”

Alice’s eyes dilated and heart raced.

In a burst of motion she stood up and took a few steps but only managed to get away from the seat, her new weight killing any momentum as she fell to the floor. “Don’t, please!”

Renee stood over her, reaching into the pot still filled to the brim with stew, and within produced a hose.

“Now now, struggling only makes it more fun.”
