Roleplaying Zarissi

Zarissi is curious and intelligent, looking to do the impossible: record every song and spell the Melorealm has ever known.

She believes music and magic are no different, and that “magic is quite simply what affects people.” Her approach to life and learning is bookish, contrary to the many denizens of the Melorealm who lead their lives with passionate emotion. She knows there are secrets to discover in the Melorealm for those who adventure through it with analysis and academia. As such, she can’t perform with an instrument quite as well as she can explain how it might work.

While she values musical, magical knowledge more than the emotions and morals that lead the most of Melorealm’s society, she’s a valuable ally nonetheless, and is often sought after for counsel and knowledge.

Zarissi is a tiefling wizard/druid NPC with challenge rating 8! Her release includes cards and files for:

• Her character art and NPC stat block.
• A Bag of Baubles, which helps make those limited use spell components.
• The Rootstaff, a magical staff that has a slew of druid spells that can control vines and roots.
• A Skylight Amulet, an amulet for druids that changes properties based on whether it is night or day,
• The fabled Songbook of the Bards, a legendary spellbook that lets wizards access bard spells.
• A Spellblade, which allows spellcasters to empower it with their spell slots.
• Rootburst, a druid spell which controls all roots in a large area for a minute.
