Urrik has the strong, silent charisma of a seasoned captain. He speaks little, knowing that makes his words carry more weight.
He inherited his captaincy by luck and quick thinking. When the ship he was on capsized in the air, sending its entire crew to the endless Cielaterran fall below, he was wearing a magical coat he’d won in a bet—the same one he wears now. It allowed him to Feather Fall himself, buying enough time to grab the upside down mast. Once he regained his bearings and recalibrated the ship, he was the only one left on it. Thus he became captain of the Zephyr’s Edge.
That was several decades and nearly a dozen crews ago. People and time have come and gone, but his ship remains. He commands it with authority, and when people board the ship, they know they better listen too.

Urrik is an orcish wizard NPC with challenge rating 9! His release includes cards and files for:
• His character art and NPC stat block.
• A Belt of the Sky Dog, a magical toolbelt.
• The Compass Needle, a wand for finding things.
• A Corsair's Cutlass, a sword that can launch gusts of wind at foes.
• The Night Winger's Cap, with a pair of goggles that let you see through the dark, fog, and smoke.
• A Sky Captain's Coat, which adds some spells to cast while piloting an airship.
• Fuel, a spell which which creates or destroys liquid fuel to use for environmental effects.
