Here is a quick render I made to simulate indoor lighting. Indoor lighting is used everywhere in 3D art. You can tell it's an indoor lighting setup if there are no real shadows because light bounces off the walls and then onto the model. The shadows are there but they are soft and  scattered.

The animation I will be working on is going to be heavily motion captured this time compared to the last one. The main reason is because nobody cares how a toe or finger is animated in detail but it does matter if you only have one shot. Often animators will do this:

Animate the character's body parts. Every bit of detail is animated.

The shot only lasts 10 seconds.

Render it from different angles.

It's also used in movies when nothing is really happening to keep it interesting. But 'something' is happening in a 3D animation and I do not think it's the right way to watch two characters fucking with the same camera angle for 30-60 seconds even if it's looped or not.

That's why I have spent some time watching behind the scenes takes of action movies and learned how it's the director's job to frame the camera so that the weird arm flailing is never seen when the two actors run at each other. And to create ways for the characters to look like they are always progressing when they are fighting. Maybe an uppercut this time or a punch to the temple.

The same can be said with motion capture. I did a test animation with Quiet and I tried different things. First walking around, then showing off how she undresses by turning around and untying her bra. This makes the viewer more excited than the average dick in and dick out animation loop that we are all accustomed too.

I have written a small storyboard for the next animation with Tracer and D.Va and the point is to have as much 'action' in it as possible. Quick rough fucking, pushing her away and slapping her ass, getting the character on her knees and then have the other one dick slap her in the face repeatedly. I think this is a good recipe for an erotica movie than the boring dick in and dick out loop that almost comes off as robotic.

I'll be trying a lot of things with these animations to eventually start creating 'heavier' movies that are more fun to watch than the typical loop 10 seconds.
