Video: Organization of HIMARS Missile Batteries (Reupload)
Added 2022-09-15 23:11:13 +0000 UTCI added some last minute clarifications to the video about HIMARS and MLRS battery organization. If you don't want to re-watch the whole thing, here is what they are:
2:47 - Original video just put the M1068 armored CP as the platoon fire direction center vehicle. Reupload states the M1068 (based on M113) is used by M270 MLRS units while a M1152 HMMWV with a shelter and AFATDS is used by HIMARS units.
3:10 - Added a note that the Reconnaissance Sergeant is a 13M MLRS Crewmember MLRS rather than an 19D Cavalry Scout, because a Patron asked me about this in the Discord
4:23 - Added a note that the Supply Sergeant and Armorer (92Y Supply Specialists) are the only non-artillery MOS personnel organic to the battery (excluding attached personnel). Even the ammunition truck guys in the Support Platoon are field artillery.
6:03 - Included a note that most likely only tracked MLRS units require an M88 armored recovery vehicle. The TO&E for this attached maintenance is from an FSC supporting an MLRS battery and I don't have an equivalent for HIMARS batteries.
6:36 - Made the same verbal note about the battery FDC, which uses M1068 in MLRS units and a HMMWV with a shelter in HIMARS units.
