Primary Source Organization Reference Data on Website
Added 2022-11-29 18:45:33 +0000 UTCI've uploaded a bunch of primary source tables of organization and equipment from the Cold War. I found them on the USAHEC site, but they are not searchable at all on Google and the files were huge (200-300MB+). So I optimized the PDFs and made them a little more searchable. The American ones include very good unit organization charts and vehicle count tables. They also include things like the subunit's missions, capabilities, allocation, and logistical data in some cases.
I have more to upload, but the ones I got in this round are:
1. U.S. Army Reference Data from the 1950s ( https://www.battleorder.org/post/usa-50s-refdata ) including the entire Infantry Division, Armored Division, and some non-divisional Armored Cavalry Regiments from various points in the decade.
2. South Vietnamese Airborne Division ( https://www.battleorder.org/post/arvn-airborne ) TO&Es for almost every subunit of the South Vietnamese (ARVN) Airborne Division in 1967-68, excluding the divisional logistics unit
