My Graphics in Marine Corps University Press' New Book
Added 2024-03-09 15:22:25 +0000 UTCI made some graphics for Benjamin Claremont's chapter in the Marine Corps University Press' new title "On Contested Shores". Chapter Three (starting on Page 42) talks about Soviet amphibious warfare doctrine.
The pdf version has a fairly low image resolution (I assume to save on file space) so here are the high res versions in order of appearance:

I'd just like to point out that these e-books (both volumes) are available online for FREE. How did I not know about the Marine Corps University Press before?? I'm kicking myself right now, lol. Just Google search "MCUP On Contested Shores" and you'll find links to the respective volumes with PDF and EPUB download links.

2024-03-18 06:28:43 +0000 UTCSince they're already aware of you enough that they're sending you offers to give out free books, I doubt they'd care about an incidental trademark issue that you didn't even deliberately infringe upon, and it's also neither the exact same phrase nor an especially "unique" one such as Warhammer 40K, for example. You have a large viewership that would benefit from the Osprey books, and Osprey would obviously benefit from the increased sales and attention your channel would give them. It's your choice though as the business owner; I can understand not wanting to take a chance with your livelihood like that :)

2024-03-09 16:18:55 +0000 UTCI was going to say I don't want to draw their attention because I didn't realize until after I started the channel that they have a defunct book series called "Battle Orders" so don't want to get in hot water for trademark lol But one of their publicists emails me once a month about giving out free books. Although I doubt she has much to do with the content

2024-03-09 16:03:21 +0000 UTCHave you ever considered talking with the folks at Osprey Publishing? They need these kind of graphics for all of their books. They would also make a great channel sponsor

2024-03-09 16:00:25 +0000 UTCGreat looking graphics, as always. There is something surreal about seeing the friendly (rectangle) milsyms colored red and the enemy (diamonds) in blue. It makes perfect sense for a map from the Soviet perspective but for an audience familiar with Mil-2525 shapes, but a little wild at first glance. Thanks for sharing!
