I've been expanding my sound palette a bit recently. Well, really returning to my roots. For a while I've been doing strictly SNES sounds, but I've started incorporating N64/PS1 sound elements into songs again. I did this a lot when I first started my Youtube channel/patreon.
All that is to say that while I was experimenting with some sounds this weekend, this song really just fell out mostly written. In one sense, it's a bit simpler than some other songs I've posted here. But on the other hand, not every song really needs a ton of layers and sections to be effective. I felt this song was strong enough as it was to work well for fun cutscenes or just a village with some really weird characters.
