Today's vid was meant to provide a slight cool down after last weeks video. After all, if I just did match after match after match, the tournament would be over way too quick! I still wanted the song to maintain the high energy that has been building, so I came up with this tune.
I took some inspiration from Mt. Koltz (FFVI) for the intro and then kind of veered off into my own thing. The foundation of the song went down pretty easily, tbh. The strings weren't too bad either, although I did have to do some cleanup with them. The melody however, took me a few iterations to get it feeling right. My first couple runs just felt like run on sentences. I thought I had it at one point, but decided to take one more crack at it and I'm glad I did! It turned out much better after that.
