You know when you see a writer constantly crumbling up pages and tossing them into the ever growing pile of rejected ideas? That was yesterday for me. I think I went through about 4 or 5 different ideas before I really locked in to something.
On the bright side, that's 4 or 5 ideas that I can pull back up in the future, and it may spark some inspiration in me! It's happened plenty of times before.
I've taken a few jabs at writing sci-fi styled tunes recently, and usually I end up bailing at the last minute. Well I saw this one through, and although it's not the most "cyberpunk/sci-fi/synth heavy tune in the world, it definitely gave me cool anime cop vibes. So that's what I went with. :D
