Man, it's been HOT this summer. I don't really have great A/C in my house, just a window unit in my bedroom. This means that it gets reaaally warm in the studio, even with the box fans going full blast.
So that being the case, I'm thinking it's influenced the past couple of tracks here. Well, maybe not so much the one on Tuesday...but whatever, doesn't matter!
This is a very islandy tune, as the title implies. I considered adding more elements, like percussion, maybe a panflute or something, but honestly once it got to this point, it really felt like it was done. It doesn't need all the bells and whistles to be a strong tune.
If you'd like for me to do another version with all the bonus bits though, let me know!
