Happy Friday Party Members!

This post is going live a touch early so you guys an watch the premiere with me. (Starts in 20 minutes as I post this!)

Wow...round 8 in this tournament. I would say "Round 8 already" but honestly it's been a long road lol.

I pulled some inspiration from Geinoh Yamashirogumi on this one. You've probably heard their work before, even if you don't know the name. They are the group that scored the movie "Akira."

I've always loved that score, but I've been listening to it a bit recently. My favorite bit about it is the use of Indonesian drums, which are super melodic and tonal. Meaning they actually sound like notes, rather than just the bang of a drum.

At any rate, I dig the song! And I hope you enjoy it as well. Oh and definitely don't sleep on this episode. Trust me. :D
