...no? Could've sworn I heard one of you asking for that...
Welp, you may have figured out the theme for today's tune. One of our newest party members came on board after hearing one of my old tunes that was heavily inspired by DKC. And it got me thinking, "I haven't done a tune like that in a while. That could be fun!"
So immediately my mind went to one of my favorites tracks, "Forest Interlude" from DKC 2. This track is somewhat underrated in my mind. I say somewhat, because occasionally I do hear others singing it's praises. It just feels like it gets overshadowed by the likes of "Stickerbush Symphony" and "Aquatic Ambience." It's like...it's Piccolo from DBZ. Everyone knows he's awesome, but he's constantly overshadowed by Goku and Vegeta....yeah that's a good analogy.
Anyway, using that as inspiration, I went at it and came up with something I think sounds pretty cool! Hope you guys enjoy it too!
