30 minutes late, but it's here! :D
Yesterday was a rough writing day. I went through 4...maybe even 5 ideas before I finally started to gain traction. Some days just be like that, ya know?
I've been playing through Super Metroid again recently, and as you may be able to tell by the thumbnail (and by me bringing it up), it served as the inspiration for today's tune. Particularly the track for Maridia.
I listened to that track a couple of times, and really liked how much they got out of it with just 2 instruments. Naturally, I didn't stick to 2 instruments, but still it served as a great jumping off point. Really I was able to run through and get the full structure down of the song with just one instrument, everything else was just the icing on top.
