So, hello everyone! Thanks for joining in on this Patreon! As promised, here are PDF files of our previous books for free download. Currently they're just up on Dropbox until I can figure out a better place for community downloads and how this Patreon communication thing works. Sega book: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d495c1q9n1d730u/Hardcore%20Gaming%20101%20Presents%20Sega%20Arcade%20Classics%20Vol%201.pdf Adventure game book: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8nnwkmjiy6f8hbl/HG101%20Presents%20-%20The%20Guide%20to%20Classic%20Graphic%20Adventures.pdf Outside of the Storybundle from last year, this is the first time that PDF files of the adventure game book have been made available, and includes a few typo fixes and other assorted corrections. The book's three years old by this point and I've been thinking about updating it, but haven't been sure of how to approach it. The maximum page count allowed by the printer is 828 and I'm at 772. There are a lot of games that have had sequels/remakes in those three years, believe it or not, plus there are a few other series that I want to have covered. I've been thinking about just keeping the same format and adding an extra 50 pages, reformatting some of the single page articles so they only take a single page and thus have more space, or just start publishing smaller volumes in the format of the Sega book, allowing for lots of color screens. Any particular preference for these? Also, there will be Kindle MOBI files provided in the future, but both books need some extra work to be reformatted. When the Castlevania book is published (shooting for next month sometime) you guys will get a free digital copy of that too. Thanks again, and please help spread the word! Kurt

First, keep up the great work, Kurt. Thanks as well for making both books available as .pdf rewards. I purchased both long ago, but it's great to have another format to use. Regarding your question about formats for the adventure game book, I think it's a good idea to perhaps have multiple, smaller volumes. While a gigantic tome would be great, I'd like for you to have the room to expand articles, liner notes, and certainly have room for more reference pictures. Looking forward to more great articles!
