Konami Shooters in Hayate the Combat Butler, and a thanks!

We've redesigned the front page so individual articles are more visible and updates can be made more frequently, so they aren't all lobbed together every two weeks like we've been doing before. The minor kinks are still being worked out so it'll be ready in a day or two. We've got our engines start to help work through our posting backlog, plus we'll be posting our new freelancing rates and calls for specific articles or types of contributions we'd like to feature. To go along with this, here's a a brief blog entry about Konami shooters - Gradius, Parodius, Twinbee and Quarth - who appear as minigames in an otherwise unrelated DS Konami title, Hayate the Combat Butler. One of the upcoming books focuses on all of these titles, and I stumbled across this bit of trivia when doing some research. I also included DS emulator save states so you should be able to easily access them in case you want to experiment. Kurt
