I've never played Saga Frontier, but apparently I need to! I had a request pop up in the suggestion box that referenced a city called "Koorong" from the game, and I immediately fell in love with the track. It's got a very funky, almost island-y vibe to it.
My tune ended up being a bit darker sounding than the reference. I threw some reggae elements in there as well because...well, I love reggae drum beats. I also messed around with the tempo a bit. Originally the track was a lot slower, but I opted to speed it up so it wasn't too depressing. :D
Keeping this post short because I got to get 2 more songs together for you guys, get them scheduled, and then get packed for my trip to Houston! WOO!
