Someone mentioned recently that there is a lot of Legend of Dragoon influence in my songs. That game is one of my favs of all time so I'll gladly take the compliment. With that in mind, I thought I would lean into that influence a bit with today's tune.
LoD has a very unique OST. The composers easily could have gone with a somewhat traditional approach to what you'd hear in a medieval setting (think Skyrim), but instead they went with a more mystical approach, with some heavy middle eastern influence.
I started off laying the foundation with the piano part. I just played all the way through. Then added the string line on top that also carries throughout. The rest was really just dressing things up a bit with some movement in the sides and background. Love the way this one ended up sounding, and I hope you do too!
