Behind The Canvas S1E7 - Libeco Linen

As a Belgian (Flemish) follower this was amazing to see. I love all your content to be clear but this felt extra special 😄!

I'm glad you finally got to meet your linen-making heroes! The captions kept flipping into Dutch translation. For people who need captioning, this is a much more serious problem than the usual shoddy machine translation mishearings (which are bad, but this is just bizarre).

This was truly fantastic. I've tried machine knitting with linen yarn and was incredibly impressed with the weaving process. Linen is such a lovely fabric to sew and wear.

I am a fiber artist (quilts, art quilts, fashion, etc) and this show has just given me quite a few ideas for new pieces using linen.

Of all the places you've visited in this series, this is where I want to work! I'm a seamstress and quilter. Fabric is exciting, and this linen is incredible. I'm currently restoring a quilt, and find myself thinking about some of your techniques as I figure out how to deal with damage. There are many similarities - missing fabric, tears, discoloration, etc.
