Today's song is an oldie...well it's an oldie where I come from. Ye oldie style that is.
Was playing guitar the other day and I came up with the main idea for this tune. Really the whole progression just fell into place. I went for a less is more approach and just added a simple melody line over top and skablam: Medieval Library tune.
I think I was taking inspiration from Daguerreo (FF9), although my take is a bit more sad/melancholy. Hence the name :D
As I was listening back to this while writing the post, I started hearing some weird phantom pops that I could not consistently re-create in my DAW. They would only appear after exporting, so I had to change the guitar tone at the last minute as that was the only thing that fixed it. Still sounds good though, may have been a blessing in disguise!

Haha yeah haven't done much metal guitar in a while. May need to bring that back at some point, but glad you enjoyed this one! :D
