We don't put the covers first because it throws off the contents of the rest of the book (i.e. what would be page 1 ends up being page 2 when you flip through it in Acrobat, etc.) At a certain point we did end up sticking the cover artwork (and back if appropriate) at the end of the PDF, just so it was viewable somewhere, and didn't mess up the pagination. I'm unclear if there's any way to add a "cover" file to a PDF...

2017-12-04 02:49:26 +0000 UTCHi, Retro Game Super Translation Selection wasn't printed in color because it was a translation of a Japanese book, that was created for black & white. Though color printing is possible, it also would've doubled the price, and I felt it wouldn't have been worth the extra cost. This is the case with Verb/ose as well. There is a color edition of the 200 Best Games of All Time book, a B&W edition was just offered as a low cost alternative since $35 for the color edition is admittedly rather steep. All books can also be purchased as PDFs through Sellfy.

That's one of the worst along with The 200 Best Video Games of All Time, it makes no sense to be in B/W and the quality is bad. Verb/ose is in B/W too, glad i didn't buy it. Either way thanks for The Guide to Classic Graphic Adventures in color.
