For awhile Alien 3 was considered the dark sheep of the franchise, but people have come around to it since every subsequent entry has been worse. At the time of release, there were actually four completely different games developed - one for several platforms (Genesis, NES, Amiga, etc.), SNES, Game Boy, and for the arcade - and this series covers them all.
