A cutesy Metroidvania/Wonder Boy-style game for the DS developed by the folks behind Henry Hatsworth, combined with a monster-raising element. I'd like to think the blue hair of the heroine is based off of Shion from Wonder Boy in Monster World. Since this is DS game, it predated the indie Metroidvania renaissance, and it was a good alternative to the Castlevania games for the platform.
