Data East's comic book brawler arguably isn't that great but it is a lot of fun. I remember renting the Genesis version when I was a kid and was blown away by the voices. But I still only gave it a 6.5 in the video game newsletter I did when I was in sixth grade, which I printed out and sold exactly one copy of, to some kid in my class, for a quarter.
This also covers the NES game, which is totally different. Some of the portable versions are significantly different from the arcade game but close enough that we're still considering them ports.
