Yeah, my impression after playing it years back was this is fun, good Metroid gameplay-wise. Not the best, but worth the price of admission for me at the time. The story was very at odds with how anyone might have gotten to know Samus over the years through their own play, so I can see dislike from that angle. Compartmentalizing those elements, the game is alright

2021-01-30 22:16:29 +0000 UTCI remember being defensive over all the hate this game got at release, but a lot of it was warranted. Such a strange entry that’s fine for a one and done deal, let us never go back there again though.
