Next week, development is in full-swing!

Hello folks!

I'd like to say a huge thank you to all those that have supported XIVAPI and Mogboard. 

Last week I finally got a 4 week testing phase complete and released on XIVAPI. This included huge changes to the API and how Characters, FC's, Linkshells and PVP Teams are managed. Now with instant adding, updating and monitoring it is much faster and more importantly it is fully scalable!

As patron is your money, I want to be fully transparent with what I do with it. Since we've hit our milestones for infrastructure changes I've added a page to XIVAPI that shows my current servers and their cost, you can see this here: https://xivapi.com/docs/Costs - This page updates in real-time so you'll always know.

Square-Enix did an update on the companion app for Patch 4.5 and in this update you can now view the Market Board while logged in. I am wondering if they will eventually allow you to view other world servers since there are API responses from the Companion App that seem to suggest this. However we won't know for certain until World Visit in a couple months.

With that in mind as of Next week, starting January 14th I am going to be in full-swing for developing Mogboard and the Market API. I've had time to reflect on feedback, see usage patterns and decide how I'd like the site to be and I have some pretty cool stuff planned.

The test site will be updated almost daily with changes I made. My plan so far is:

- Get the basic UI design fleshed out, I want to adjust the current views and make it more mobile/tablet ready.

- Look into improvements on XIVAPI for maintaining a persistent history and allowing downloads of batch data for personal analysis

- Implement market tools that can aid you such as custom reports, trackers and notifications. Also allow you to see your own sales and your friends, FC and LS members sales.

- Implement all custom requests by patrons and users of the site.

My aim is to have everything I desire the site should have done within 2 months, you will see the progress of this daily. Most of it should be at a good stage by the end of February.

This is because I suspect World Visit around March or April!
