自分自身を「名前」で縛ることさえしない。
限りなく自由な存在。
そんな妖精たちが赤い館で「メイド」として過ごしているという。
その話に興味を持った天狗の記者が館に取材に訪れたが
彼女曰はく「妖精はただメイドごっこをして遊んでいるだけだった」とのこと。
そう話した天狗の記者は
原稿用紙の草稿の束を前に少し遠い目をした。
「館の主は「メイド」ではなく「メイドごっこ」が見たかったのかもしれませんねぇ」
嫌になったらすぐやめる。
妖精というのはそういうものだ。
