海の妖怪から毎日100匹の魚を捧げるように言われていたのだ。
それを見た優しい人魚は漁村の人々に言った。
皆さん、私の掌の上に移り住んでください。
そこならば海の魔物も手を出すことが出来ないでしょう。
人魚が海底の砂を掌ですくいあげ海面まで持ち上げると
そこには立派な島が出来た。
人々は喜んで人魚の掌の上の島に移り住み街を作った。
優しいまなざしを向ける人魚の掌の上に。
海の妖怪は去り、平和が訪れた。
人々は人魚を褒め称えた。
優しい人魚は言った。
おめでとうございます。
ところで、私もそろそろお腹が空きましたので
食事を獲りに行きたいのですが
私が潜ると皆様の街が滅んでしまいますので
毎日10000匹の魚を私の口に運んでくださいまし。
よろしくお願いいたしますね。
The people of a fishing village were in trouble.
