正直者は善人であるか？ Are honest people good people?

私には悪気はありません。
私は無邪気で無害な自分を誇らしく思ってさえいました。
しかし、あらかじめ用意していない言葉は私の口から出ません。
私の口からこぼれる言葉は
「私は普段からお前をそういう風に見ているぞ」という悪意の宣言なのです。
私は正直であることを善だと信じてきましたが
自分の正直な言葉のスタート地点にある悪意に気づいたとき
自覚も覚悟もなく周りの悪口を言ってきた自分に愕然としました。
I am an honest person who unexpectedly says things that hurt the other person.
I do not take offense.
I was innocent, harmless, and sometimes proud of myself.
But words that I have not prepared in advance will not come out of my mouth.
The words that spill out of my mouth are a declaration of malice: "I usually see you that way.
I have always believed that honesty is good.
When I realized the malice in the starting point of my honest words
I was shocked to realize that I had been speaking ill of others without being aware of it and without being prepared for it.
