I think Evilus is a misstranslation. They're known as the "Evils", a group of several familias that served evil gods. They had Orario in a grip of darkness and lawlessness for several years, but were all but destroyed 10 years before Bell's arrival in Orario by a coallition of familias lead by Loki and Freya, though remnants of the "Evils" still pop up from time to time to cause trouble. Though they're mentioned a few times in Danmachi, their presence is much more intergral to the story of Sword Oratoria. What Hermes was insinuating was that Iklos familia was either a surviving member of the "Evils", or at least a supporter, as the "Evils" had many people among the city merchants and even a few guild members who secretly supported them with money, supplies, or intel.
