Honestly this lockdown feels unnatural. Like yeah, lord of the city would lockdown his city so that 2 groups can kill each other. While stoping trade and damaging city. Its even more unnatural that bunch of assasins running around city abducting people. I understand that assasinations/abductions are not uncommon, but on such scale, really? To top it off, those guys attacked temple of all things and there still no react from official authority? Really? Honestly, most logical thing would be lord sending knights&guards to throw both groups out of city. Oh, i also love how iron bastards basicly sneaked army in city and dreamers didnt catch anything of it. While poisoning of Baris month ago should've put them on high alert.

2021-03-24 05:02:43 +0000 UTCY, this whole war thing just makes me facepalm. How did a bunch of idealistic idiots stay around for so long? How do you reach your current size without some form of wisdom and experience?

2021-03-22 19:04:10 +0000 UTCThe Adventurers Guild has already been established by Daniel to not be the same kind of super powerful and influential multinational organization which can control all adventurers and their activities. They're an organization, but wayyyyyy **less** influential than the United Nations or even the League of Nations.

2021-03-19 13:16:21 +0000 UTC"all the Silver Rank{s were placed} dreamers were placed with the trainees" - I think the 's' on Ranks and then the extra "were placed" need to be cut out. And I'd recommend capitalizing Dreamers, since it still refers to the company. "but not only {have} each clash" - "had" "Iron Champions{} plan to crush" - "Champions' ", added apostrophe to make it possessive. "as the figure revealed {themselves}" - I'd recommend "itself" instead, as currently this is just a 'figure'. Alternatively, "themself". "enough Level 40 or Level 50 adventurers {flailed} on it" - This may just be a "me" thing so by all means feel free to disregard it, but the word "flailed" makes me think of them just kind of laying on it and randomly beating at it with little direction. I'd recommend "whaled" as an alternative, or even just "beat" or "attacked it". "One where {either of us dies}" - The phrasing on this makes it sound like a guaranteed thing. I'd recommend "either of us could die" instead. "{brushing} battle" - I've never heard "brushing" used in this way, I'd maybe recommend "light" or "minor" instead. "number of adventurers and assassins{ s}the Iron Champions Company" - I think a few words may have been cut here. Maybe something like "...assassins [with/aiding] the Iron Champions Company" or something. "back {in} my farm" - I'd recommend "at" instead.

2021-03-17 01:35:14 +0000 UTCthe lockdown is for their own safety, not officializing it. in the same way a government would tell its people to stay at home when there is a pandemic, they're saying it's dangerous.

2021-03-16 19:14:48 +0000 UTCQuite honestly, someone of the peripheral characters dying (like the little girl Salvos rescued) would really enrich the story and make for a good revenge reason on the Iron Champions for our happy demon girl MC. A reason that she's mostly lacking so far, apart from "Iron Champions are mean". I'm a sucker for all things fluffy and cute, so I'm obviously not rooting for such a development, but it would give this arc some more heft. Or Salvos just eviscerates the big bad in a showy fashion, both is neat. Author - sama! Don't listen to grumpy grumps who grump!

2021-03-16 14:49:53 +0000 UTCI just can't accept that the city is like "Oh, you're officially declaring war on another organisation? Okay, we'll tell the citizens to stay inside." Like, what? It makes no sense - it's one thing for the city/country to let it slide, a totally other thing to officialise it.

2021-03-16 12:55:10 +0000 UTCThe scheme does have weak points. It’s been 3 days in-story time.

2021-03-16 10:09:22 +0000 UTCI mean I like the novel, but I hat that arc. It just seems really stupid that this scheme works so good and has NO weak point. I would assume something like this did some company before and there would be at least some regulations that go against something like ths.... Ohh and I really hope they all die a gruesome, slow and painfull death....

2021-03-16 10:06:37 +0000 UTCFirst of all, mind your language. Second of all, what do you want to happen each time the Iron Champions Company breaks the law? For police to spawn behind them and start shooting them like in Cyberpunk 2077? It’s been a month since they poisoned Baris, and 3 days since they killed the first Valiant Dreamer. Fun fact, it took a month for there to be ‘consequences’ to be had for Archduke Franz Ferdinand’s assassination. And his death is considered the most **immediate** cause of WW1.

2021-03-16 08:35:13 +0000 UTCI don't wanna pile on and say that the iron champions scheme doesn't really make sense, but I do wanna point out that it'll be hard to convince people that the valiant dreamers are the aggressors when they're being besieged. It's hard to try to break into someone else's castle with an army "defensively".

2021-03-16 04:16:31 +0000 UTCWhat the fuck happened to the kingdom putting a stranglehold on the iron champions company about their dungeon having centinels which were a major risk. This entire arc is retarded. I don’t really care about how much this whole rule thing is in play when the iron champions are flaunting that they are breaking every single one. Even if they win what do they even get from this?

2021-03-16 03:49:26 +0000 UTCMan, perhaps not the biggest fan of this arc a bit brutal as long as none of the side characters die Edithe, Daniel, Rachel etc would like to see the Iron Champions get their just deserts soon. Feel like it may lead to Salvos having to reveal being a demon to fight i.e needing the extra stats, skill (the call) and physique of her demon body. But honestly I really want to see the Iron Champions suffer as well as those assassins which appear to potentially be the Vindicated. Also aren't their waay to many assassins.

2021-03-15 23:48:13 +0000 UTCTo be honest I don’t understand why the guild even lets these companies be made, why let these other groups take a cut of the profits and authority? Especially groups like our rather one dimensionally evil Iron Campions, they started out by breaking rules and hiding dungeons and continue to do so. I mean, the guild in question, is it just a general outline of rules governed by the system or is it an actual organization? If so why don’t they care about all the lost profit or resources and personal? Not I can’t just shut my mind off for the reasoning behind all this but I would appreciate not having to do so for large parts of this arc

2021-03-15 23:44:44 +0000 UTCI'm... really not a fan of this chapter. You already know my opinions on the weird hostage taking brainwashing stuff, but Edith consistently telling Hadrian what to do has been weird the past few chapters.

2021-03-15 23:03:41 +0000 UTCHow many people get murdered everyday to create a market for this many high level assassins to be running around?

2021-03-15 22:30:46 +0000 UTC"If the Iron Champions declared war first— without due cause— these companies would have jumped on them, claiming that they were acting to counter the Iron Champions’ aggression." - Was it really necessary to call attention back to how weak the setup for this mini-arc was? The way this was played, the Valiant Dreamers didn't declare war but acknowledged the state of war they were already in and the Iron Champions verified this with instant siege. This is trying to have your cake and eat it too. The Iron Champions approach being so blunt really plays against this arc. There being other parties that would get involved outside allies too. "His words caught them where they stood. Edithe’s eyes widened as she watched the Iron Champions Company regroup. And surrounding them suddenly appeared hooded individuals. Assassins. It had been a trap." - The Iron Champions are a sacrificial lamb, aren't they? It would explain how blundering they were in this approach if they were hoping for a swifter end and maybe some chance of not being used up and spit out in a fight between greater powers. I'm kinda enjoying this arc when it's not being inane, but far too clear a cassus belli has been given for anyone who cares to to join up against the Iron Champions. it feels clumsy and poorly thought out. Maybe, if chapters are going to be so long and cover so much, a chapter less per week would be warranted to cover up the more glaring plotholes? Just not calling attention to it so much would have done plenty.

2021-03-15 21:48:18 +0000 UTCI find it hard to accept that the country is willing to let private actors shut down their city so that they can murder each other, especially if non-member civilians are getting dragged in and the private groups involved represent a significant part of the defense of the city against monsters. Sure, they may rather deal with other things but actually allowing this to happen shows their complete impotence. Why would anyone trust the government when the government can’t stop gang wars in the streets? It’s like if the US government did nothing while the center of new york was a warzone

2021-03-15 21:03:50 +0000 UTCFeels like the Iron Champions are strong enough to ignore any rules. Is it really enough to just hire 3rd party assassins and then do whatever you want? They poisoned and attacked for the declaration and now they kidnap civilians? Feels like a classic case of the "good guys" following the rules, but the "bad guys" get to ignore all of them.

2021-03-15 20:48:54 +0000 UTCI hope the reason from the Iron Champions for this war is a really good one, because it seems just really dumb. Even if they win this war, they lose so much manpower. And that the local lord even allows something like this. He is probably like „Yeah, just go kill each other, so if a sudden monster waves comes this whole region just fucking dies, because all of the platinums just died“ :D

2021-03-15 20:25:10 +0000 UTC"The two fled, retreating back out of the gates, the remainder of the strike force from the Iron Champions Company following after them. Some of the dreamers tried to follow. They wanted to press forward. This was a victory! A route! But Hadrian shouted out an order." I think the word you want is Rout, not Route.
