2021-05-31 02:25:54 +0000 UTCAlso, I get that the wights are really smart and super tough to fight - but it seems like those two artifacts are so important that I'm surprised they hadn't been retrieved already. Is it really just that Daniels' hero stat makes him that much stronger? I'd think that a small army of 10 100+ leveled individuals could have also cleared it, unless Hoxle's divining skill is also just super rare? It feels a bit like our trio just accomplished something really big a bit too easily. Still a great read

It's very subtle, but you can tell that she's really coming into her own and her confidence is growing - and it feels very real and natural with the plot. She doesn't feel quite as 'main character' as Salvos or Daniel, but I'm really hoping that with this revelation of Daniel's we'll start to see him go through some development as well.

2021-05-30 17:28:29 +0000 UTCWhat is Salvo's rate of emotional maturity? Is she capable of romantic attachments? It would seem unlikely since demons are spawned instead of born. It also begs the question what's the point of some of them having sex's? Another question is since salvos doesn't eat sleep or drink what exactly is her energy source? Does she need to breathe? Does she have internal organs at all? If not how can she truly be female? If she does have internal organs, then why? What purpose do they serve? Perhaps a better explanation as to what demons really are would help move the story along and provide explanations for what motivates salvos.
