Your leap to "having a baby" was more than just weird, but you're right with the rest. This development doesn't really seem to be an evolution. Her becoming fully mortal at some point wouldn't make any blasted sense, though, since SHE IS A DEMON.

2021-07-02 05:06:14 +0000 UTCso the benefit is stats she didn't need since she literally just slaughtered a dude who was a rank up on her in her previous mortal form vs now she is vulnerable while sleeping more often? seems dumb....plus what if she had actually needed that skill the first time for an emergency situation...she passes out and is killed.. the end of the story. I mean I get it as a gag but from a skill standpoint that is just terrible starting out with a sleep deficit...does she have to catch up on the thousands of hours she hasn't slept is that the next gag...or does she waste away because she hasn't eaten while she is passed out from never sleeping....or do we wait for the instadeath by starvation for when she gets her next rank up and full mortal form. When she gets preggo in full mortal form after miraculously living through starvation and then changes to demon form what happens to the baby? On the upside, once she is in demon form she probably won't lose any sleep over it...

I do wonder what the benefit of being a daeva cambion is if it's really just a timed buff though. So far, the changeling's abilities seem to have been a much bigger step. Not sure what to make of the ending.
