However, she might be underestimating Salvos' intellect here, and think that Sal might be the better choice for asking more details about the corruption. That aside, she's right in that there are more immediate concerns to deal with right now. The corruption isn't a clear and present danger, and it won't be for a long time, presumably. She can put off asking for more details until other things have been situated.

That way you are able to take a break when you want to, you can still remember the story, and writing is your passion first, a chore/job second. Nobody here will leave if you start releasing once or twice a week. Plus, having a backlog allows you to make retroactive edits and you aren't trapped by your own release times if you want to make any changes.

I really want her to drop all facades and just declare she is a Demon, but one who doesn’t indulge in planar politics except when it comes to her complains health and well-being

She's been getting a relative vast amount of screen time so I assume she'll probably stick around similar to Clayton. Also I agree that the 'questioning' really wasn't very substantial. I mean, Salvos doesn't know exactly what the corruption is but there is a ton of other stuff she could have talked about. Like iirc that the dragons left to fight against the corruption. That it comes from the endlands and slowly spreads for millennia now. That the Centinels of the bloodied gulf were originally driven to their continent because of it. Stuff like that. And Helena sure as hell shouldn't be fine with just the fact that corruption corrupts and that Salvos learned of it from her father.

Helena didn't get to hear what the corruption was exactly, and Salvos never explained just why she never told anyone (even though we know the reason is probably ":shrug: just didn't lol"). The discussion feels a bit awkwardly ended imo because of that. Helena didn't ask nearly as much immediate questions as she should've. That aside, lol, Daniel and Edithe found out Salvos has a dad now.
