Yeah, I thought the same exact thing. She may look monstrous but if you think about it all of her demonic features are things that are shared with dragons such as her horns, wings and claws.

I mean would there have been one the abomination was the one that killed hin. That being said as an Illusionist ist is very possierlich for him to escape, and je does not seem dum enough to be killed by his own plan

Draconic Apprentice permitted use of all magic without restrictions. If that's not a huge amount of potential growth, I don't know what is. The only problem is that this path is slower towards space magic than other 3 classes and requires more learning in general to properly utilise. It was strange that in the previous chapter it was described just as power boost. And it is somewhat surprising that it allowed her to escape so easily - it was a risky choice.

I was totally wrong on this one. I suppose Draconic Apprentice was the one other class that implied growth, change and becoming something more.
