I always feel empathy for Amelia, I feel no one really sees her even Noele in there eyes she's either a hero, a monster of a women, a god like being or a savior. I feel like she's a fable of a girl who wanted to make it home and got everything she needed, slayed the monster returned victorious only to come back to late family gone, sister almost gone but too long apart with a new family. A stranger to her world who decided why not a strange world to fit, someone who can bend stars but is a drift and alone. I feel emotionally she's probably trying to find her way out of a pit because her foundation, the thing she needed to keep going that every otherworlder character has, the goal of getting home, seeing family again was gone and she's so far past feeling hollow from it that she just keeps going because theres nothing she can do but try and find happiness as best she can.
